Brighter Than…

In keeping it short, sweet and fairly creative today I’d like to share a few six word stories I created, which tell their own stories individually and collectively:

Because of you I shine brightly.

I wish you had smiled more.

I wish you could smile again.

I know I made you smile.

Limited viewings, lasting impressions, everlasting imprints.

Glimpses of you, I’ll remember forever.

You’re a star to me now.

Light my path with your love.

In Six Words

From time to time I use six word stories to stir my imagination and get the creative juices flowing. Every now and then I share them here. I really enjoy writing these because they make me more aware of my word choice, so each word packs a punch. Here are a few that I’ve shared on my profile on Six Word Memoirs on pain and hope:

He won’t be home tonight. Again.

Sometimes we are blind on purpose.

I lived through not having enough.

Do not cry to me tonight.

In Six Words

I’ve become obsessed with micro everything. Short and to the point. I have a novel I’ve been working on for about four years now and still have not finished. I’m a woman of few words, but I like for my words to pack a punch, so I’ve been playing around with haiku and flash fiction lately. Here’s a couple that I’ve shared online so far.

Stories in Six Words on Hope and Pain:

  • It never ends like you planned.
  • Sometimes the sun shines at night.
  • It hurt badly, but I won.
