Poem: I Love the Way You Admire Me

I love the way you admire me.

Breath in sync.

Embrace as infinite as the sky.

With the view from where we are

I could reach up and touch heaven.

Stay at my side and let me warm you

and provide your place of rest.

Lay your head on me and squeeze for dear life

Let’s hold on to heaven forever.

Shrink: A Poem

I’m shrinking.

Pulling away from what weighed me down and pushing up into a new way of

Thinking.

What I loved purposely left me weeping,

Tenderized

Pulverized heart,

But still a heart still worth keeping.

And it beats stronger… while the heaviness withers away and I shrink, I think, “How great it is to be thinner from ‘wait’ loss, patiently hoping for better days, and stronger from the discomfort of willing myself more life.”

Say It!

The temptation to call is too great

for me to not act on it now.

You impress with loyalty,

sweet nothings every day

knowing I am yours

Though I’m speechless

You know me.

I see.

You.

Lovingly

Mental Blocks Legacy

How many days passed

without evidence of accomplishment?

Without the benefit of hard work

Only time and energy spent?

How many days go by

when life feels like a lie?

When focus is unattainable

And there’s nothing to bring to the table

Days seem long, but time is short

Better do something worthy of report

One day the distractions will come to an end

And there’ll be no chance to finally begin.
